Mountains in the Fall

Thought I'd share some pictures I took yesterday while up on the mountain for a drive. It's just beautiful here in the Shenandoah Valley this time of year with the leaves changing! Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Ballet Bag

Here's a ballet bag that I made for a friend's 3 year old daughter who is taking ballet. What do you think? I'm making another one with black accent ribbon now and I'll
post pics of that when I get it done.

This bag has a quilted lining and coordinating inner side pocket. The straps are accented with grossgrain ribbon. The outside of the bag looks like a tutu with the tulle and ribbon. I also sewed on a "necklace" and some shiny buttons!

Apple Days Craft Show

My craft show this past weekend went really well! I even got 1st place among all the crafters! I was VERY VERY surprised by this and VERY happy, too! It's nice to get some acknowledgement for my work! Here's a pic of me with my ribbon! :)

August/September Winner
