Sunday afternoons... do you nap? do yardwork? veg out in front of the tv? What to do? This afternoon I sewed. I am FINALLY caught up on my sewing for the shop. I'm going to start cutting back on my store a little bit at a time because I'll have to close up for awhile once the new baby gets here in July!
It's almost July already?? Only a few months left! I don't really have too much to do to prepare for the new one... already have clothes, toys, essentials, etc. Just have to get Miss Nikki out of the crib and into her "big girl bed" so the baby has a place to sleep! :)
We're still working on picking out a suitable name for the baby -- we don't like picking out names... it's too hard!
At any rate, while I'm on "maternity leave" from the shop I'll be taking some time to come up with new innovative items for the shop for both babies AND their mommas... so ideas are welcome for anything you'd like to see! I'm also going to be working on some patterns to sell in the shop for some items as well. We'll see how well that goes... might need the hubby's help with my Adobe photoshop stuff to make it look all pretty like!
I go tomorrow for the 28 week appointment at the OB -- ie, drink the orange cola and get blood drawn to test for diabetes appointment. With my son I had to go and take the 3 hour one and get blood drawn 4 times... YUCK! They say you don't have to fast before the 28 week test, but with my daughter I did and didn't end up having to have the 3 hour test, so I'm totally not eating after 8pm tonight... you know, just in case. :)
Off to eat dinner now!
