I'm hoping to expand and blog about crafts and also food, fun and games for the whole family.

I'm also trying to find time to reopen my etsy shop (http://bethysak.etsy.com) ... having FOUR kids 7 and under isn't allowing me much time to sew... but we'll see. Hopefully when the baby is a bit older I can find the time... lol.

In the meantime, whenever I do find the time to sew something, it will likely be for the kids and I'll be sure to post projects here... or whatever site I end up settling on. Also, will be posting good recipes that are easy and yummy, too. Various crafts that I find on Pinterest (LOVE that site) and actually try out myself, I'll post here, too.

Anyway - looking forward to the journey... hope you'll stick around!

Summer is here

Summer break for the kiddos started this week! Connor's last day of kindergarten was Tuesday!

It is also HOT as all heck outside! Three days in a row of 90 degree plus heat... First heatwave of the year!

Bead Loom

Ok, so since I am finally caught up on my sewing I was able to open my bead loom kit I bought last year from Toys R Us. Yes, the box says ages 6 and up, but it looked like fun, so what the hey!

Here is a look at the practice ring I made this afternoon. Nice little projects I can do while just sitting around resting!
