Do Something With The Chicken

I asked Richard what he wanted me to make for dinner. I said there were chicken breasts and some pork chops in the fridge that had finished thawing. He said, "Well, do something with the chicken."

Ok.

What does one do with chicken breasts without a plan? Hmmmm.

Grab a zip lock bag.

Cut up the chicken into pieces.

Get some flour and dump it in the bag.

Add some Season-All (I LOVE this... LOVE.) Add some cayenne pepper. Add some garlic powder.

Throw that chicken in the bag.

ZIP! SHAKE! SHAKE!

Throw it onto the hot electric skillet and cook cook cook! (you know, brown each side of the little nuggets and then cook about 20 minutes)

Add some frozen veggies if you wish... well, thank you, I will! (make some rice or noodles as a side dish and voila!)

Tandoori Chicken

Have bought and cooked with this tandoori chicken kit once before and it was very yummy and the hubby loved it and wanted it again. So on the last trip to Martins for groceries, I picked up another box.

Very easy to make and tastes authentic, too. Comes with all seasonings and the basmati rice! Just need oil, yogurt and the chicken.

Turned out great! You can grill the chicken or broil it... Yum.

Updated...

I'm hoping to expand and blog about crafts and also food, fun and games for the whole family.

I'm also trying to find time to reopen my etsy shop (http://bethysak.etsy.com) ... having FOUR kids 7 and under isn't allowing me much time to sew... but we'll see. Hopefully when the baby is a bit older I can find the time... lol.

In the meantime, whenever I do find the time to sew something, it will likely be for the kids and I'll be sure to post projects here... or whatever site I end up settling on. Also, will be posting good recipes that are easy and yummy, too. Various crafts that I find on Pinterest (LOVE that site) and actually try out myself, I'll post here, too.

Anyway - looking forward to the journey... hope you'll stick around!

- Beth :)
