A Super Etsy Find!

Searching Etsy for "Conan Obrien" related handmade items I came across this fantastic poster! http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?ref=vt_related_1&listing_id=39306224

It's from Etsy Seller Charm Studio (see shop at http://charmstudio.etsy.com) . Her shop opened up this past September. I think that her shop is one of those rare Etsy finds that people just haven't stumbled upon yet... but once they do, they are so happy! Her other posters are also unique and very pretty... perfect for your homes, offices or even dorm rooms.

I ordered the Conan Obrien poster and I think it is just wonderful! It's simple, but dramatic. It's got Conan's outline against an orange background and a quote from his final show... It arrived quickly and in a sturdy poster tube. Wonderful experience and great shop! Go check her out!

Dress for Nicole...

Made Nicole this dress the other day from Sandi Henderson's Pattern for a round apron dress! It's a super cute pattern -- I'll admit though the instructions weren't always the clearest to follow, but I did get it all figured out in the end. Other than a few misses on the instructions it was a great pattern! Here's a link to the pattern... http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=38896455&ref=sr_list_1&&ga_search_query=apron+dress+pattern&ga_search_type=supplies&ga_page=&includes[]=tags&includes[]=title

A Tutu for Nikki

Saw this great tutorial at the Tea Rose Home blog and just had to try it out for Nicole. The link to the tutorial is here... Tea Rose Home: Tutorial ~ Tutu ~

It's a simple no-sew (except for the elastic part) tutu that I think anyone could do! Here's how mine for Nicole turned out...
