June Contest

Ok folks -- Here's June's Contest.

This month I will be giving away a free car seat slip cover! See picture below for example...

This car seat cover simply slips over the existing car seat cover... no need to remove straps to put this cover on! Closes with velcro and has an opening for the bottom strap as well. The cover *should* fit most convertible toddler seats. (For comparison purposes, the car seat pictured is a Graco ComfortSport... also KNOWN to fit Britax Marathons)

My favorite place to eat is a restaurant in Downtown Staunton called Byers Street Bistro. I LOVE that place. I almost always get their club sandwhich, but all their food is super. The atmosphere is perfect, too.

Car Seat Slip Covers!!

I did it! I made a car seat slip cover! Someone asked me to try and make one, and voila! I did! They are now for sale in the shop. Check it out!

They have a wrap around elastic fit and install easily over the car seat's existing padded cover by closing with velcro around the straps. These *should* fit any covertible car seat. I know for sure they fit Graco ComfortSports and Britax Marathons. If yours is close to those, then it's a sure fit!

My new fun decorations...

I'm finally getting my sewing corner of the dining room decorated ...

Here first is my FAVORITE thing ever! It's my antique store find (well, my sis-in-law spotted it first)... a super nifty wooden rocker pincushion and spool holder!

Second - a set of dollhouse furniture for a sewing room! I have it on a little corkboard shelf above my sewing machine.. sooooo cute! There's even a little butterick sewing pattern envelope and golden shears! I LOVE IT!
