I made what I'm calling an heirloom lap quilt. It's a small sized quilt backed with chocolate minky. I used all vintage fabrics which I bought from people on Etsy (except the minky of course) and did a lot of decorative stitching. There are the words "love", "hope", "faith", and "joy" stitched on the squares as well. I'm giving this to my daughter and I hope she will keep it always. :)

Where do you buy your minky fabric? Would you be able to make small lap blankets with chocolate minky and camo minky?
